Wine Tasting

The main wineries organise guided tours and tastings. Their cellars are some of the oldest and most interesting, dating back over 400 years to the period of the Knights of St John. The guides will give information about the culture of wine in Malta, and depending on the season; the tours cover the entire production from the initial fermentation through to the ageing process. They also include wine history museums and opportunities to taste and buy a variety of vintages. Exclusive tours and tastings can also be booked.
